PSYCHOVOLUNTEERING

The School of Psychology’s Volunteer Program is structured around three core components: psychoeducational support, personal and community care, and the participating student, each of which is expressed and integrated into the various support projects and programs implemented across diverse contexts.

This experience fosters the human, civic, and professional development of students, with particular emphasis on:

  • Learning through practice
  • Learning psychological theory enriched by working in and for the community
  • Commitment and participation as a sense of belonging to one’s community
  • Experiential and participatory work with people
